This is a very difficult item to photograph. Could not get the eyes to show up well, or the muzzle with the whiskers, or even the adorable flippers. It is in very good condition but so hard to show in a picture. There is glare in the photos. In person, this is absolutely adorable, and all attributes very clear. The tusks have a light blue tint. This is rarely seen on the secondary market. It is a sought after and rare piece, by a well-known and loved company. The work of Orient & Flume can be found in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum, the Smithsonian Museum, the Chicago Art Institute, the Chrysler Museum, the Corning Glass Museum and fine stores and galleries throughout the world, since the early 1970s.
