This is an imposing piece. Guido Cacciapuoti earned his reputation in porcelain in Italy, and was famous not only for his own works but those of his students. Notable among his student was Antonio Borsato, who many feel he surpassed his mentor. This sculpture, with the flaring ears and lifted trunk, is an exciting example of Cacciapuoti at his best.
Country of Origin: Italy.
Size: 9 1/4" tall. 12" long.
Condition: When I purchased this I was told that it had been restored for minimal damage. Can't find where, but have listed it at a reduced price.
