This lovely forest scene is asking the old question "when a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, does it still make a sound?" Since it presumes that the viewer knows the question, how much easier it is to simply lead in the viewers thoughts. I was drawn to it for number of reasons. I liked the feeling the artist evoked. There was a stillness, but one could imagine the hum of life in a forest... birds, small and large animals. The colors are beautiful.
