Stanford Horn has talent that has caused me to buy three of his works. Would probably have bought more if they came available. Years ago when I was buying a lot of artwork, his became very special to me. His use of watercolor for nostalgic landscapes gives me serene and content feelings. A very astute browser wrote me about this piece: "It looks like a church or a sanctuary, or an inn of some sort. Kitchen on the left, private quarters or praying area on the right, and receiving area of some sort in the middle..... There also appears to be a plaque of some sort in the middle of the right wall." Another very nice viewer clarified exactly what place and building this is. She wrote " Hello--This is a picture of Le Conte Memorial in Yosemite National Park. It was built in 1903-04.It is a charming building.
Yosemite is one of my favorite spots on Earth!" I hope whoever buys his works appreciate them as I have.
