This was listed as a policeman's cap in the auction catalog. It has an unusual metal badge on the front in silver color, and two small gold colored buttons with the same figural decoration, and the year "1684" on the buttons. This logo is interesting. It has an eagle, a shield with a windmill and some barrels, an old-type soldier with musket rifle. I don't know if Mr. Hagman ever used it in any production. It is navy in color. There is no mark or size tag present.
Condition: Good to Very Good. Some expected wear.
Provenance: Larry Hagman's estate.
All of memorabilia items from celebrities. such as Phyllis Diller, Larry Hagman, Robert Goulet and the many others we are presenting, are accompanied by my Certificate of Authenticity, which includes Auction and Lot Number if applicable, and copy of auction catalog cover, if available.
