This is another fabulous Ruthven Signed and Numbered, limited Edition that hung in Mr. Hagman's home. It does not photograph well, but is a wonderful piece that captures your interest. It is a large colored limited edition of a Flying Snowy Owl. John Ruthven was called the "20th Century Audubon." Larry Hagman certainly liked his work, as this is one of three Ruthven prints that Mr. Hagman enjoyed.
I purchased this (along with other artwork, memorabilia, awards boots, cowboy hats and other eclectic things from his estate. Mr. Hagman obviously loved the outdoors and wildlife, and enjoyed surrounding himself with beautiful renditions, including the three limited editions from John Ruthven, that I purchased.
