Edith Head (October 28, 1897 – October 24, 1981) was an American costume designer who won eight Academy Awards, starting with The Heiress (1950) and ending with The Sting (1974). This is still a record in its category.
This costume sketch is obviously a sketch for Ricardo Montalban in his role as Vittorio in the film "Sweet Charity" (Universal, 1969). The sketch has "Sweet Charity" written upper right. There is also a notation at mid-left that reads "cropped jacket."
Size: 11 by 8 1/2 inches.
Condition: Some yellowing of the paper. While it has been kept in relatively good condition, one must not forget that this is 45 years old.
