How many times can you acquire such exquisite creations associated with two such prestigious names? Minton has been the standard that others have tried to emulate for the finest of porcelain from the factory's beginning in the 1700s to the early 1900s. It was certainly fitting that Tiffany and Co. would import these superb English plates to bear both names, since Tiffany has been synonymous with style and quality.
These are beautifully gilded and have raised jewelling. Pictures do not do them justice.
Size: The plates are 8" in diameter.
Circa: 1873 - 1912
Condition: Nine Plates are in Very Good to Excellent Condition. One plate, sadly, has a crack which seems stable but is visible. (We have taken several
photos of the cracked plate. Please pay attention to the photographs of all the plates. )
Because of the one damaged plate, we are listing the ten plates for less than one would pay for eight plates. We have had an appraisal, and the current value is $125.00 each plate, minimum, for all in Very Good Condition. So you are paying only $100 each for eight, getting two at no charge! I would think you could get the tenth plate restored, but I do no restoration.
