In the 1970s, my husband bought me this DuPont cigarette lighter. When we stopped smoking in the mid 1980s I put it in our safe deposit box "just in case" I started smoking again. I am delighted that I never did re-start smoking, so took this out and feel it is no longer necessary. It is still an interesting collectible, since this is a design that I have not seen in all the searches I have done recently.
This lighter has seen a lot of use, since I smoked a lot in those years. I would rate the condition as Fair. Definitely shows wear.
I have not put either fuel or flint in so I have no idea if it still works, although it definitely was working when I put it in the safe deposit box.
Size: 2 and 1/4 inches by 1 and 1/4 inches closed.
