Antique Chinese Mudman Fisherman On A Palm Leaf, Circa 1900

This smaller size is sought after by many collectors. Our fisherman is extremely well-detailed, as are most of the collection that had been carefully and lovingly collected. He is glazed in the Sancai tradition of Cerulean Blue, Mustard Yellow and Jade Green. He is missing his fishing pole.

Size: 3 and 1/4 inches tall.

Circa: 1900.

Condition: Very Good. The colors are vibrant. Less than the expected roughness around the base. The overall condition is better than you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

This is part of the fabulous collection of 144 vintage and antique mudmen I have purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades.
