This fisherman is depicted as reclining, which is not as common as other fisherman poses. He is glazed in the traditional Sancai hues of Jade Green Cerulean Blue and Mustard Yellow. He is well-detailed with an interesting expression on his face.

Circa 1900.

He is 3 and 3/4 inches tall and 3 and 1/2 inches across.

Condition is Very Good with the usual roughness on the botton and slight rubs on the base. The overall condition is as you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

This is one of the fabulous collection of Chinese Mudmen I just purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades by a single owner. I purchased all 144 pieces, all in Very Good to Excellent Condition, with no breaks, cracks, or losses. I will be listing all of them, and of course will consider a reduced price if one were to purchase all or a large number of them. I am listing them at very affordable prices individually as well.

When buying more than one item of approximately the same size, we combine shipping, and only charge $1.00 shipping for each additional item.
