Chinese Mudman Sage (Physician) With Gourd - Symbol of Healing and Medicine - c 1920

This is a well-detailed figure holding a gourd. The gourd is symbolic of medicine and healing. The figure is glazed in the Sancai tradition in cerulean blue, mustard yellow and jade green.

This standing sage is 4 and 1/4 inches tall.

It is in Very Good to Excellent Condition. The overall condition is better than you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.
