James Alder, the excellent Northumberland wild-life artist (especially of birds, paintings and sculpture) was the artist for this fantastic Royal Worcester porcelain sculpture. It has the same wonderful fragility of nature, One almost expects the foliage to rustle in a breeze. The Kinglet (Regulus colandura) seems to be in the middle of a song, with his beak open and tongue darting out.
The base mentions 9 inches wide by 5 inches deep. The sculpture stands with the base 7 inches in height,
It is in Very Good Condition.
