Wedgwood Liberty Bowl was commissioned for the prestigious J. E. Caldwell Co. and is rarely seen on the secondary market. The bowl depicts the signing of the Declaration of Independence and historic landmarks of Colonial Philadelphia. Around the outside of the bowl are scenes of Congress Hall, Betsy Ross House, Liberty Bell, First US Bank, Christ Church, Merchants Exchange, Carpenters Hall and the U of Pennsylvania. Around the perimeter of the inside of the bowl is the unforgettable words from the Declaration of Independence "We hold these truths to be self-evident: That all men are created equal: That they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights: that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."
Size: 10" in diameter and sits on a 5 1/4" base. It's about 4 1/2" high.
