Visionary and Mystic. Tank-A was born on Sakhalin Island, Russia- (formerly Karafuto, Japan). Among the hills and mountains on the shores of the Pacific Ocean .. . She was naughty and rebellious. Later She was labeled as "dissident" on numerous occasions during the Soviet Period. Tank-A classically had trained, in Fine Art and Sculpture since childhood in the Art School for gifted children in Moscow and the Moscow Fine Art Institute. Among her Professors with reverence she calls brilliant the Sculptor G. Alaverdov and the Fine Artist I. Vulokh.
Participated in Rebellious Art Exhibitions at the legendary " Little Georgian 28" , and in the Underground Alternative Art Exhibitions in Moscow.
The “State Historical Museum”, Ministry of Culture of Russia, Moscow, Acquired several Art Works of Tank-A.
She left USSR In 1981 and spent several months in Rome
and was recognized as a Religious Artist. At this time the “Vatican Museum” Acquired three of her works: Two Miniature icons and a Russian landscape.
In the end of 1981 she moved to the United States.
New York, 1982. Archbishop Primate of Autocephaly Russian Orthodox church of All America and Canada commissioned from Tank-A a High Regalia-- Panagiya (worn on the chest) elaborate, with a two sided Silver Cross (5" tall) made with Precious Stones, Cloisonné Enamel, and Miniature Icons on Enamel. It was the Official Gift to Patriarch Pimen, Primate of All Russia on His visit to NY at this time.
Presently this Unique Art Piece is on display in Museum of "All Patriarch of Russia".
1987. The Earliest of Tank-A's oil paintings oil on canvas was acquired by the "Norton and Nancy Dodge Collection" of Nonconformist Art from Soviet Union.
At Present the Paintings are kept at Zimmerly Art Museum, in the U.S.A.
1993. Tank-A started inventing a totally new approach to sculpture and jewelry as a combination of High Fashion Regalia and Sculpture.
1998. Armory Art Center, Palm Beach FL.
Nationwide Show "Wearable Art 98 ". Tank-A’s Silver Wearable Objects were displayed. Including: Silver Bustiers with gemstones, Silver Corsets, Rings, Necklaces, and Bracelets.
She created a furor when displaying her work in 1993 - 1998 in Palm Beach and Miami Beach, and in Manhattan. In New York -- under the shadow of skyscrapers – were the final stages of development for her to be known as an Avant-garde Jeweler.
Her Wearable Silver Pieces are shown in galleries, high fashion stores, and the Academy of Art in Moscow, Paris, and New York.
In spite of all temptations she remained true to herself, her soul, and kept a tuning fork to her view on all breath and objects around her.
2004 --2007. Tank - A received recognition at leading London, New York and Miami Auctions.
2009-- Tank-A received the Title of Academician of Art and became a member of the International Academy of Science, Education, Industry and Arts in Silicon Valley, California.
2013 . Winner of the International Competition "Diamond Duke" called “De Reshelye”. Two nominations ---

2014 - 2015. Certified Winner at International Festival of Russian poetry and Culture in Israel.
