This particular painting appealed to me. Simply love his technique of using pastels with the acrylic, and masterfully yet almost inconspicuously use the pastels and acrylics in the subject matter and in the background. A sense of unity and compatibility and completeness has been achieved.
Desiderius Orbán was a Hungarian visual artist who was born in 1884. Orbán had several gallery and museum exhibitions, including at the Art Gallery of Ballarat and at the Bank Austria Kunstforum. Numerous works by the artist have been sold at galleries, including 'French landscape' sold at Virag Judit . House 'Christmas Sale' in 2013 for $29,605. The artist died in 20th Century.
