Albert Dunington (British, 1860-1928) was a painter in oil and watercolor of landscapes, coastal scenes and animals. He was born in Lenton, Nottingham, and later lived in Manchester. He exhibited several times at Nottingham Castle Museum ( Nottingham Society of Artists) and later at Manchester City Art Gallery. Most of his work has remained in The UK and other European countries. His high reported price was over $3000.00. This particular work has two boats with fishermen and a sailboat in the foreground of Brodick Bay. In the background are trees and the far background is Goatfell. I found this very appealing. The use of mountains and the bay, with the boats, really is a tranquil and lovely scene.
