Enzo Gallo (b. 1927) is a visual artist who has worked primarily in Marble and Bronze. He is considered a master Sculptor, and has had a number of significant artists, such as Terry Brawley, apprentice for him in the 1970s. This carved marble sculpture was commissioned by a prominent South Florida family who prefers anonymity. Most of Gallo's creations were commissioned, and hence are rarely seen on the secondary market. This particular piece was estimated in October at $6,000.00 to $8,000.00 by InBelan Galleries of Coral Gables. However, in the current art world that is unreasonable, in my estimation. We are pricing it at what we believe is a price lower than it should be in hopes of a quicker sale. Nowadays it does not matter what the original owner paid to have this commissioned.
