Charles Barraud (Swiss, 1897-1997) was a talented artist, whose work has become more and more desired for sophisticated collections. One of his nudes sold for over $10,000.00 in 2012. This particular painting makes one wonder. Why is she standing, leaning her arms a bit on a stand? What is behind the stand? It has an impressionistic feel to it.
