Aharon Giladi (Golodetz), was born in in 1907, Russia and immigrated to Israel in 1929. Studies: 1923-26 Art Academy, Leningrad. Prizes: 1948, 1954 Dizengoff Prize; 1957 Brazil-Israel, Sao Paolo; 1960 Histadrut Prize. Until 1948 was member of Kibbutz Afikim. From 1969 he settled in Safed and died in 1993.
