Here we have an exceptionally RARE, RARE, RARE table lamp. It is also a Cook Stove with a GRILL in the base/bottom. As well as this rare light's VERY UNIQUE DESIGN it also has an interesting way of turning on & adjusting the heat of/to the burner. The hinge is connected to an adjustable switch (Rheostat) so that when you open the lid to the burner it is turned on & the further it is opened the more voltage is allowed to the grill plate until when fully open then it is to/at full heat. Obviously when closing (Turning off ) then all goes in reverse. Very HEAVY and made of cast iron, brass, & a wooden base plate. ~ALL ORIGINAL~On the bottom it has its original paper label and is called & signed the “The Grillite” Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. OFF.
