This lovely old piece would date to around the 1860's-1880's I believe. ..Note the Gas Lamps. The box is beautiful old mellow Oak and measures 8 1/4" x 6 1/4" and is 2' in height. I cannot make out the full title on the picture but can see the word "Strand". I am sure I've seen this scene before but the whereabouts escapes me at present !
