An intriguing old World War Two souvenir ashtray commemorating the Landing of Allied Occupational Forces on the Islands of Japan. Measures 4 3/8" square, branded NIKKO, and made from a lead spelter metal. Interesting that when newly defeated the Japanese were immediately producing souvenir items for the occupying forces.
