Victorian Lace Mourning Bonnet Mid-Late 1800's

This crocheted VICTORIAN MOURNING Bonnet is just lovely and in beautiful condition. The black bow and band band signify death and mourning and this Bonnet appears very similar to those worn by QUEEN VICTORIA following the death of her beloved Prince Albert. The whole piece looks like it has been stored away in tissue in a drawer so I'd say it has had little, if any, wear.
