According to the info on the inner front cover "accounts were opened for each child enrolled in Elementary Schools of the West Riding of Yorkshire with a deposit of one shilling as a gift from the Chairman of the County Council and his friends. The deposit and Pass Book commemorated the Silver Jubilee of His Most Gracious Majesty KING GEORGE V. As pictured the book is 'sound' but a bit grubby with some fold marks....still it is a very interesting piece of Yorkshire Banking history and Royalty Memorabilia.
