A really neat old Weaving Loom SHUTTLE BOAT that was purchased in Lancashire about 50 years ago...this would date to the late 1800's or early 1900's. The Shuttle is 17" in length and about 1 3/4" across on the sides...it has steel tipped ends with a brass inset fitting at one end. The inner spool stick lifts up and springs back down again when pushed....still has some thread on it. The makers or factory name is stamped n green at one end but a couple of letters are worn away...refer pics.
