The jacket and waistcoat are outstanding examples of the handwork used to make such costumes...they are stunning in scarlet cloth with gold wire and 'jewels' decoration. To find the complete Suit is rare...particularly one as old as this...not only do we have the pants and cumber-band but also the shirt and undershirt, plus the 'Long Johns'....and the wonderful hat. There is yellowing of the 'whites' to some degree and some age old wear signs but in general they are in very fine condition for garments of some 70 years of age. The jacket is simply stunning in its artistry and is in beautiful condition...imagine the huge amount of time and effort that went into the making of this 'masterpiece'. We had the costume sourced for us by our South American Agent ....this is a rare and highly collectible piece of Bullfighting Memorabilia worthy of being placed on display in a museum.
