A super pair of old Barley Twist Candlesticks which I believe date to around 1910-20 period. These are thick and solid candlesticks complete with bottom drip pan and brass sconces on top. Not certain of the wood....don't think it is oak...possibly mahogany?Lovely patina whatever it is. Each stick stands 12 1/2" high and the base pan diameter is 6". The base of each is baize covered. The brass sconces have been given a light clean only and whilst have some dents are in sound condition.There are sizeable chips out of the drip pans) and we have lowered the price accordingly. Even so an impressive set of genuine Edwardian Period Sticks that still look just marvelous.
