Very Elegant Georgian Regency Period Tea Caddy in Flame or Cuban Mahogany veneer. The caddy body has beautifully sabre shaped corners and the body sits on four Bun Feet. There is a strip of beading missing at back on the bottom...not really that noticeable but we have posted pictures that highlight the fault. There are some smallish blemishes to body but otherwise condition is excellent. The base has what is obviously the original baize covering. Internally the condition is superb with original tea boxes and velvet lid padding. The mixing glass is perfect...it appears to be of the period but not sure if it is original. The Sarcophagus measures 15 inches in width at base, is 9 1/2 inches in height, and has a depth of 8 3/8 inches at base. The key is missing. A very nice and well priced example of the Period.
