A very impressive Victorian Cast Iron Wall Sconce for an Oil Lamp.....there is a British Registration Number on the under part of the wall bracket which dates the piece to around 1884. The overall length is 12 inches and the diameter of the Sconce Bowl is 4 3/4". The bowl would have held a removable glass Oil Container with wick and possible a shade. The decorative piece shows a BEEHIVE and BEES. There is a certain Gothic influence to the piece.
