A PAIR of Large Corbels fashioned from New Zealand Native Kauri Tree wood. Each one measures 20" in length with a width of 5". These were probably originally part of a Fireplace Surround used to support the shelf part. In architecture a corbel is a structural piece of stone, wood or metal jutting from a wall to carry a superincumbent weight, a type of bracket.
