An old Police SPECIAL CONSTABLE'S Truncheon with a hand painted Cypher for King George Fourth and with the town name of BOWLING on it.
the suburb /town of Bowling is situated in the Broomfields District of East Bradford . The Truncheon is 18 1/2" in length and is in good reasonable condition for an item such as this dating to the early 1900's. There is a split in the wood in the handle area....not deep, and some other 'scars' here and there. Nice piece of policing memorabilia.
