We shall fight with growing strength and confidence in the air. We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be". To center is a large portrait of Churchill imposed on a Union Jack flag backdrop and surrounded by numerous different illustrations all featuring Churchill and interwoven with white ribbons bearing more Churchill quotes, Churchill is depicted with aircraft overhead, at sea with the Navy, on land with the Army and standing alone in front of Westminster. Now very hard to get, an example of this scarf is in the Imperial War Museum, London, and is also well documented in a number of publications as well as being included in a number of exhibitions.
