An absolutely fantastic pair of Chilean 19th Century wooden Hand Carved Stirrups. We sourced these in Chile on a recent South American buying trip and this pair were by far the best of what was available in the marketplace. Probably used more for parades and ceremonial occaisions but you can see the wear signs in the pictures....definitely nice old pieces from the late 1800's. There are small tacks on inside of the heel area where there were possibly leather inner soles attached.
