WMF Jugendstil Vase Circa - Germany 1890- 1910 - image 1 of 8

A lovely all brass vase by the renowned German firm WMF. WMF (Württembergische Metallwaren Fabrik") is a German tableware manufacturer, founded in 1853 in Geislingen an der Steige by the miller Daniel Straub and the brothers Schweizer. This vase is a little different to many produced by the company in that it is totally made in brass rather than a mix of copper and brass. There are some very minor flaws but no real dents as such....it is in beautiful condition overall . The vase measures 12" in height with a base diameter of 4 1/4" and has the WMF Ostrich Trade Mark well stamped on the base. Note the lovely Art Nouveau or Jugendstil scallop decorations to both the base and top. A highly collectible piece and priced well below the commonly asked price range of US$500-600 for similar items.
