A tin lunch box or pail with a marbled enamel finish....used generally by French workers around the 1930's-50's. In nice condition the box is 5 1/2" tall, 6" wide, and 3 1/4" deep. Apparently factories and the like had hot water tubs where the lunch boxes could go in to heat the contents if required.
