Bianchini appears to have had a real passion for copying the great Renaissance Painters. His works which seem to span from around 1900 to the 1940's and are now quite sought after with excellent prices being achieved. As with this Oil on Canvas the actual painting was often not signed and there was just the description to the back of the canvas. This beautiful smallish Oil Painting measures 16" x 12 1/2" .The original was painted by Filippino Lippi (1457-1504 )....as a Renaissance painter Filippino Lippi influenced Tuscan Mannerists in the 16th century. His most famous work was “The Vision of St. Bernard.
