Very neat little door knocker of King Arthur just 3 1/8" in length cast in solid brass. These small Knockers were sold in the United Kingdom as souvenirs at historical and religious sites in the early 1900's.....they usually date to around 1908-1912. Most homes of the period had no internal door locks so had these small 'knockers' on them. This piece was likely sold at one of the 'supposed' Camelot sites in England such as Tintagel Castle, Tintagel, Cornwall. Also the home of Merlin's Cave.
