A rather nifty antique parcel post rate indicator manufactured by J. K. Stewart Mfg. Company, Chicago, Illinois, patented in 1914. It is an octagonal-shaped instrument with two knobs, one at either end. Each side has two cut-out windows where information appears by turning the knobs to indicate proper postage by pounds and cents for various zones: local rates and zones 1 to 8. Measures 4 1/4' in length and 1 3/4" in height.
