Fashioned from Pewter or Britannia Metal this lovely little Trinket or Jewellery Box would date to around the opening or early years of the WOOLWORTH Building in 1913. It is silver plated and the plating is in good condition.....has not been cleaned / polished...it is as we received it.The decoration on the case is more of the Edwardian Style than any other. The silk lining is original....shows some wear signs as would be expected. The case measures 4 3/8" x 3" x 2 1/2" in height.
