A Big Beauty from the Fiji Islands with patterned decoration to rim this KAVA BOWL has a diameter of 15" and stands 5 1/4" high on its four legs. This one has a nice deep bowl for holding plenty of Kava and the bowl has been superbly polished giving a stunningly warm patina on the wood grain....most Fijian bowls are all dark stained but in this case the wood has been left in it's natural state and the affect is just lovely. The bowl has the drop down piece on the side for tying the coconut ladle on.One of the nicest we have seen....probably 30-40 years of age.
