An absolutely stunning Georgian Silver Fish Slice Hall Marked for DUBLIN, 1830 made by Silversmith Richard Garde of Cork. The slice depicts a fabulous engraved Fish and both the fish and the outer edge of the slice have detailed Pin Pricked engraved 'wriggle work'. The Handle is crested with an engraved Lion holding a Quarter Moon in one paw, together with the Initials of the owner below it. The slice is 12 1/8" in length and the slice part tapers from 3" down to 2" where it joins the handle stem. Silver weight is 131 grams. In perfect condition bar one tiny indent to slice edge.
