T.S.M.V.  Wanganella  - Souvenir Anchor - image 1 of 1

Very nicely made silver plate on brass Souvenir Anchor....the piece stands4 1/2" tall with a base diameter of 2 1/2". The Wanganella was built in 1929-31 for the Huddart Parker Shipping Line based in Sydney and mainly did the Trans Tasman route. She was used as a hospital ship in the Second World war and was finally scrapped in 1961.
