A quite rare ashtray or dish promoting AIR CANADA'S GALAXY SERVICE. Made from Ornamin(plastic) it is in Mint unused condition measuring 5 1/4" in diameter. The Galaxy Flights went from Toronto to California in the late 1960's. However, The Galaxy service ran for only a few years as it was cancelled when Flight 621, a Galaxy run, crashed outside of Toronto on July 5, 1970 with the loss of all on board.
