This listing is for an Antique Victorian Saphiret Glass jewel Bracelet.
This item is adjustable in size (depending on where you fasten the catch on the chain links.)-see images.
​There are 7 Saphiret Stones that are each about 11mm in diameter and two that are around 13mm or so in diameter -see images.
This item was recently purchased from an estate.

​Saphiret Glass Jewels were made around the Mid 19th Century by melting Gold into Sapphire colored Glass.
​The Resulting jewels are a wonderful reddish Brown hue with Luminous flashes of Blue -see images.

​It is my understanding that these jewels were stopped being made around the turn of the Century, when Gold Began to rise in value, making their production not cost effective.

SIGNED: no marks that I can find.

DIMENSIONS: at the widest points, this bracelet is about 1/2" wide.

​At its shortest it is about 6" around inside circumference and at its largest, it is about 8" around.

GEMSTONES: no gemstones, this item is detailed with Saphiret GLASS Jewels
​7 of the jewels are each about 11mm in diameter and 2 are each about 13mm in diameter -see images.

WEIGHT: 24.3 grams.

CONDITION: The Saphiret Glass jewels have a few small chips, dings, nicks, fleabites etc. in some areas.
​There are some scratches, scuffs, etc. in areas as well -Please see close images.
​There are 7 jewels that are each about 11mm in diameter and 2 are each about 13mm in diameter.
The metal is base metal.
The metal has some small dings, dimples, nicks, scratches, scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas.
The metal has patina, tarnish and discoloration in areas as well and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in areas (if desired)
