A lovely pair of Victorian silver pin dishes which would most probably have sat on the dressing table of a Victorian lady. The pierced sides and embossed scrolls provides an attractive finish, which is completed with a bow at the top of each dish. They each stand on three ball feet which gives them a sense of height.
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1895 the dishes were made by the silversmith Mitchell Bosley and weigh together 40 gms. Each dish measures 3 1/2" by 3" and stand 1" high.
