Mid-1900s Santa Clara pueblo black-on-black pottery pot, signed (hard to read) "Santanita Suazo Santa Clara". The design is Avanyu (water serpent) around the side, with rain cloud pattern around the top rim. This pot is 4 inches tall, with a 5 1/2 inch diameter at the widest point. No chips or cracks; surface scratches and marks on this pot. The bottom has remnants of tape glue marks. This is a very nice and beautiful Santa Clara pot by a well-known pueblo potter.
