This is an antique watch fob that pictures an automobile and a bi-plane in a race. The car has the number 18 on the front. Our research turned up a historic race between Barney Oldfield and Lincoln Beachy in 1914 between a automobile and a bi-plane. There were also other early bi-plane and automobile races. This fob is silvertone over copper though unmarked. It is worn. The leather strap is braided and has a very attractive metal buckle. The picture is very well done. The medallion measures 1.5" in diameter. The fob is 7" in total. Please see photos for details.
