Grandma saved all sorts of things, including this selection of laces, embroidery and pin tucking the right size for doll sewers to add instant "antique" to a project.
The box includes:
A 1920's teddy, complete except for straps. Great lace and 40 x 23" of ecru crepe de chine. A little damage to the front lace, otherwise perfect.
A double collar and two cuffs, trimmed with yards of old lace.
Lace appliqué from a slip.
Embroidery on a peach nylon slip remnant.
Two blouse fronts with pin tucking and insertion, one white, one peach.
Pair of white lace trimmed satin ribbon straps.
32" of pin tucking on fine white lawn.
An embroidered two piece collar with matching tabs.
A saved collar of large tatting.
So, sew on! It's all clean and ready to go. If you need inspiration, I have many doll patterns in various sizes and styles here on my page!
