A majolica cream or milk pitcher (jug) made in England during the Victorian era. The surface is embossed basket weave with sprigs of bamboo on either side and a faux bamboo handle. There is an English registry mark on the underside, not distinct enough to read the date of manufacture. The interior glaze is mauve. The jug measures three inches tall and about 5-1/2 inches across from spout to handle. It is in perfect condition with no crazing or signs of use.
